Unity Christian Academy and Staff would like to welcome you to our school.

Unity Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Unity Christian Academy was established in 2003 as a ministry of Unity Christian Center.  Its purpose is to provide children not only with an academic education, but also with an education that is based upon and consistent with Biblical teachings.

We believe that parents are responsible before God for providing a Christian education for their children.  In order to assist families with their obligation to train their children biblically, this school operates as a Christian Academy.

We are members of Accelerated Christian Education (School of Tomorrow). We are Accredited through Dual Enrollment with Lighthouse Christian Academy.

The history of the school began in the year 2003, when five teachers retired from Montgomery Christian Academy.

The Principal (Betty Taylor) and Assistant Principal (Jacqueline Hale) worked at Montgomery Christian Academy 19 years before retiring.  We formed a corporation called Unity Christian Center, Incorporated.

We decided to open a tutoring service to assist parents who wanted to home school their children.  The number of students who needed assistance became too great.  Therefore, the parent’s and the teachers of the home school program decided to form an independent Christian school that would welcome Christian families from all denominations.

Unity offers education for grades K5 through twelve.

Our teachers have over one hundred years of combined experience from public and private schools.

The former Administrator, Betty Taylor worked in Montgomery County School System and also helped to establish a former Day Care and Christian School.

The current Administrator, Jacqueline Hale worked as her assistant and teacher at the same Christian School.  She also has worked as a teacher in Montgomery County School System, Math Tutor at Austin Peay State University (EOC) and Math Teacher in Adult Education Program at Greenwood Complex.

Both administrators completed their education at Austin Peay State University and have a strong desire to see young people become educated and successful in life.

The Administration and Staff at Unity Christian Academy would like to thank you for your consideration of and interest in our Educational Program.

If we can be of any further assistance to you in making a decision to enroll your child or if you need further information concerning our school, please feel free to contact us.

Thank You,

Jacqueline D. Hale
Administrator/Principal
